Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 - Orchestra Arrangement

The harmonic beauty and seamless polyphony of Bach's second Brandenburg Concerto has been retained in this very true string orchestra adaptation of the original. The flute, oboe, and trumpet solos have been reassigned to the principal players in the violin, viola, and cello sections. Though shortened to work better in the educational setting, very few concessions were made in the level of difficulty. All parts are given energetic lines and interesting material to challenge students in their mastery of the authentic Baroque playing style.
