Maxwell D. Cat - Jazz Arrangement

Inspired by a pet Siamese cat, the opening Basie-style piano solo sets the tone for this classy and slinky medium swing chart. The full ensemble states the melody and is followed by a sax section soli chorus. The trumpet soloist takes over at that point for another full chorus, and then the full ensemble shouts it out. The final A section winds down the energy to a closing bari and bass trombone statement, joined by the trumpets in harmon mutes. Trumpet range is to written High D. Trombone range is treble clef A.
