What type of payment do you accept?
The Music Shop accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa. Sorry, we are not accepting check or money orders and this time. School representatives may use a Purchase Order number.
 
Do you charge tax?
Currently, we are only charging sales tax in the state of New Jersey. Out-of-state and verified school orders are not liable to pay taxes.
 
How much are shipping and handling charges?
All of our shipping and handling charges are listed here. Special shipping charges or discounts may not appear on the Shopping Cart page, but will be applied when your order is processed. Any additional shipping charges (i.e. for large instruments that cannot be handled by UPS) will be sent to you by email for verification.
 
How can I track my order?
Under the "My Account" tab in the "Customer Service" menu you can check the status of your orders.
 
Is it safe to place an order online?
YES. We use SSL to encrypt all of your personal information to prevent anyone other than The MusicShop.com from accessing credit card information. For information on how we use this information, read our Privacy Policy.
 
How can I cancel an order?
In order to cancel an order that has already been sent to TheMusicShop.net, you must contact us at 1-800-553-0633 (extension 2112) BEFORE the order has been shipped. Once the order is shipped, you are subject to our Return Policy.
 
What is The Music Shop's warranty policy?
The Music Shop covers repairs and maintenance on rental instruments for the duration of the rental period. We also cover instruments purchased from The Music Shop for one year longer than the manufacturer! Damage caused by misuse of instruments is not covered.
