The Music Shop's Professional Development Program will be held on Monday, January 19, 2009.

This program is designed to give music directors, private educators, and university teachers an opportunity to improve their programs and earn required continuing education hours. Our courses are designed to improve the individual teacher as well as enhance the school's overall music program, with up-to-date music, techniques and skills.

The Conn-Selmer Company will be sponsoring a FREE Professional Development Day at The Music Shop on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday January 19, 2009, from 9am to 3pm. Conn-Selmer will have their top clinicians visiting New Jersey to provide a day of FREE clinics in support of music education in New Jersey. Educators will earn professional development credit at no cost to themselves or their districts. Conn-Selmer is a legendary and historic American music company, representing Bach, Conn, King, Holton, Selmer, Yanigasawa, Leblanc, Armstrong, Ludwig, Musser, Glaesel and Scherl & Roth, among other brands. REMINDER - if you have school that day, New Jersey regulations require that you submit your paperwork to your principal as soon as possible to request attendance.
