The Music Shop - New Horizons Band starting it's Third Year!

Open to ALL musicians ages 55 and over - no experience necessary (although those with experience are certainly welcome!) Members will meet twice a week for 90 minutes and participate in both small group lesson settings, and full ensemble rehearsal.
If you used to play, it's time to dust off that instrument and oil up the keys! And if you always wanted to learn but thought the opportunity had passed you by, now's your chance to make that dream come true!

WHO CAN JOIN?

* We welcome everyone over the age of 55 with a love of music and the desire to learn to play an instrument. Whether you have prior experience, or have never played an instrument but have always dreamed of doing so, we invite you to join us!

WHEN DO WE MEET?

* We are currently offering classes for beginners on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:00 AM. Meetings consist of individual and small group lessons, and classes in music theory and appreciation.

WHERE DO WE MEET?

* The Music Shop is conveniently located on Fanny Road in Boonton, right off of route 287. We have ample parking, and our easily accessible rehearsal room is located on the ground floor of our Performing Arts Center.

WHAT IF I NEED AN INSTRUMENT?

* The Music Shop provides instruments of the highest caliber, and most are available for purchase, lease, or on a rent-to-own basis.

WHAT IF I HAVE MY OWN INSTRUMENT?

* You are more than welcome to play on your own instrument. If you happen to have an old instrument up in the attic, The Music Shop's on-site repair facility can have it tuned up and ready to go in no time!

WHAT'S IT GONNA COST ME?

* Our Tuesday/Thursday Beginner's class costs $175.00 for 12 week sessions and includes two weekly, individual or small group lessons; music theory and appreciation classes; and all books and music.New Horizons Chorus cost $87.50 for 12 week session which includes one 90 minute class per week and all books and music. The New Horizons Jazz Ensemble add on is $25.00 for 12 week session
