Rovner Ligatures are used by leading saxophone and clarinet players around the world. The Rovner ligature is designed to loosely hold the reed to the mouthpiece with no uneven pressure points. Rovner ligatures are produced with specially designed fabric that will not stretch or rot. Metal fittings for the Rovner ligature are made from corrosion resistant materials. It allows the reed to swell and shrink naturally, reducing leakage at the mouthpiece facing which extends the reed life. It also significantly reduces reed rasping and squeaking. This affords the performer the opportunity to produce more accurate intonation and freer tonal control.
